THE POPULISTS

The Populists is the club oriented DJ project of French singer producer and film composer Yan Wagner.

Since 2014 he released EPs and tracks on labels such as Lumière Noire, Zone, Detriti, Ritmo Fatale and XXX and produced remixes for artists such as Scratch Massive, Bagarre (Le Gouffre which became an underground New Beat classic spun by a wide array of DJs around the world), Molecule or Kid Francescoli. The Populists music lies somewhere between Belgian New Beat, Dark Disco and vicious House Music (think Paranoid London and Green Velvet).

His last single « Acidité » was released on DGTL in December 2024, with a mind-blowing remix by Lauer.
